The opening cocktail reception for the exhibition Charles Csuri: Sketchbooks of Time is on March 20, 2012 at 18:00. As Director of Kasa Gallery I am happy to announce the new exhibition Charles Csuri: Sketchbooks of Time. The exhibition is a collaboration with the Leonardo Electronic Almanac, The Ohio State University and Goldsmiths College. The leaflet for the exhibition can be accessed here.
Charles Csuri exhibited a new version of his artwork Random War (1966) on the Media Facade of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb. Csuri was one of the artists that I selected and curated for the exhibition titled Dislocations that was part of the Official Parallel Program of the 12th Istanbul Biennial and of ISEA2011 Istanbul.
Dislocations was an art program of re-contextualization and transmediations that saw the participation of Songul Boyraz, David Cotterrell, Charles Csuri, Mathias Fuchs and Danielle Roney. Their work was exhibited on the Media Facade of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb and was part of the Official Parallel Program of the 12th Istanbul Biennial.
