This is a series of artworks that explore The Incredible Life of Coco Seraphim Marie Antoinette of Avalon.
The relationship between artists and pets is documented in the long history of art. Pets have been featured in a variety of paintings, sculptures and public monuments. Nevertheless, pets’ contemporary life has become complex and contentious. The increased industrialization and corporatization of pets’ food and life styles has generated a series of problems that range from breeders’ unscrupulous and illegal activities, controversial and unhealthy foods, humanization of pets’ life style and increased commodification of pets.
The Incredible Life of Coco Seraphim Marie Antoinette of Avalon is a recount of the life of a much loved pet in the XXIst century.
