About Ars Manifesta
Ars Manifesta is an insight into the artistic, curatorial and aesthetic approaches of Lanfranco Aceti. It is a space to showcase ongoing projects, collaborations and ideas as they develop. It also represents an opportunity to interact with the audience and develop feedback on issues that affect contemporary fine arts and digital cultures.
Ars Manifesta is an artist's diary in the 21st Century as well as a scrap book that offers to the viewer the possibility of engaging with the meandering aesthetic narratives of a contemporary artist caught between transcultural identities and trasmediations of contents.

I am catching up with my own artistic practice. I have just finished my article for NEME and I am thinking of doing the performance here in Istanbul and in other cities across the world.
If you have time give a look at the article. I had fun writing it and working on it. Now that the commodification of labour seems to be ‘in fashion,’ it should not be too controversial either.

Help Me To Be Friends With Her is a project that started in 2007 at the ICA in London. The premises of the project are based on on-line email exchanges with another artist… The writings changed into colourful and poetic personal stories where the words themselves became images in an on-line colourful playground. In these days I am putting together this project and focus on the aesthetic relationship of words and images and the blurring of distinction and boundaries between the two in the world of on-line digital media.

I have been working on art project for a while on the relationship between word and text. There are many ways of considering how to structure this relationship. My interest focuses on the word as image in the context of contemporary digital media.
AND I HAVE MISSED YOU... the moments i have spent with YOU, writing in isolation from the rest of the world, are my moments of creativity
